Kip is Justin Chen's roommate at UCLA. He made his first and only appearance in "College". He is portrayed by Ryan Salazar.

Kip attended UCLA and was roommates with Justin Chen. Returning to his dorms after midterms, he was greeted by the sight of the Huang family, with Justin notifying Kip that they were staying in the dorm with them. Kip replied that he didn't care since he had flunked out, having seen his midterms results. He lamented that despite years of prep schools, attending AP classes and being high school valedictorian, he would still be returning to work at his dad's butcher shop, causing Jessica Huang to realize that UCLA was a serious school. He later hung out with Eddie Huang in the dorm, suggesting that Eddie try eating ramen dry. When Eddie asked if it was possible to do so, Kip replied that anything could be eaten dry with enough chewing.
