Quotes[]
Louis: Ah, don't tell me. Uh, square-dancer with a light sensitivity. Emery: I'm Dr. Alan Grant... Paleontologist/unlikely father figure from Jurassic Park. |
Emery: Who are you supposed to be? Evan: I'm Indiana Jones... Professor of archeology, expert on the occult, and obtainer of rare antiquities. Emery: We can't both be Indiana Jones. You're supposed to be Short Round. Evan: I'm tired of always being the sidekick. Last year, you pushed me around on a dolly all night. I just want one Halloween where I can feel the earth beneath my feet. Emery: I didn't know you felt that way. Tell you want, kid. You pick our costumes. Evan: I won't let us down. |
Eddie: I bet this party is gonna be just like the "Gin and Juice" video. But, you know, not as diverse. |
Shelley: What are you doing here? Aren't you tampons still in 8th grade? Brian: Maybe. That turn you on? |
Louis: Jessica, you won't believe this. Jessica: I need the name for a sexually promiscuous fingerprint analyst. Louis: Amber. So, I was reading the article, and it says that a girl slaughtered her family with a shovel exactly 100 years ago tonight... in this very house. Jessica: House was built in '74. Louis: Right, on the very property where the shovel massacre happened. Jessica: They filled in a swamp to build this development. |
Jessica: Why is Reba standing in our hallway? Louis: I brought her over after school. Reba: I am not Reba. I am Anastasia Zinx from Poland! Jessica: Did you get her parents' permission? If not, that's a felony. Child abduction. Louis: Okay, Reba, let's go. Reba: Who is this Reba everyone keeps– Louis: Let's go! |
Evan: I'm Los Angeles County Superior Court Justice Lance Ito. Emery: Who am I gonna be? Evan: Here, put these on. Famous house guest Kato Kaelin. Emery: Nobody knows who Kato Kaelin is. Evan: Exactly. That's what drives him. Use that. Emery: I knew I shouldn't have let you pick. It's late. Let's just do Jurassic Park. Evan: Overruled! I'm going as Judge Lance Ito. Emery: Fine! I'm going as Indiana Jones. |
Louis: I hit someone with my car! I think it might have been a kid. I don't know. They weren't wearing reflective clothing. I-I-I panicked, and I drove right back home. Jessica: Are there any pieces stuck in the grill? Louis: What? Jessica: Hair, clothes, skin? Shoes stuck in the wheel well. We got to make sure the car is clean. Strip down, I will burn your clothes in the car port while you shower. Impact blood travels, so you got to scrub your bellybutton, armpits, legpits, inside your eyelids... Everywhere. Louis: Okay, I get it... Jessica: Keys! I need your keys. I'll run the car into a tree to cover up any dents this kid may have caused. Better, I'll slam the brakes and let the car behind bump me into it so we don't have a knock on our insurance. Next hurricane, I'll chop down the tree in case any flesh transferred to the bark. We never speak of this again. I love you. |
Jessica: You didn't check to make sure the party was supervised. He could have come home addicted to drugs or pregnant. Louis: I just wanted him to have some fun on the best night of the year. Jessica: This wouldn't have happened if you weren't so busy trying to scare me. Louis: You know how you love Christmas? Jessica: Yes, it is a superior holiday. Louis: Well, remember that one Christmas when I was working, and I told you to go get the tree without me, then I came home, and there was no tree. Jessica: I didn't want to put it on top of the car myself. Louis: You also wanted me there. Jessica: I don't want to pay the guy $5 to tie it down with twine. Louis: Another reason you wanted me there. Jessica: I didn't want to carry it in myself and get needles all over the floor. Louis: All reasons you wanted me there. Jessica: Okay, fine! I wanted you there, but Christmas is different. Louis: Why? Jessica: Christmas is something you share with your family. Louis: Well, that's how I feel about Halloween. |
Jessica: Get dressed, we're going trick-or-treating. Evan: But it's November 1st. Eddie: I call Evan's candy! Evan: I'm on board! I'm on board! Louis: What's this all about? Jessica: I will never like Halloween. But I understand wanting everyone in the family to join in. |
Honey: Sorry, but Halloween was last month. Jessica: What is this game you all play? You leave up your Christmas lights till forever, but we come one measly day after Halloween, and it's like the whole thing never happened. |
