Zack is the best friend of Evan Huang. He made his first appearance in "Breaking Chains". He is portrayed by Luke Judy.

Zack and Geoff
In the cafeteria at Abraham Lincoln Middle School, Zack sits next to Geoff and watch as Evan Huang is attempting to pull off a card trick. After managing to somewhat pull one off, Geoff invites Evan to his Bar Mitzvah.
Zack stops Geoff from responding to Jessica
Suddenly, Jessica Huang sits next to Evan, revealing that she has decided to take her practicum at his school, therefore allowing her to spend 100 hours with him instead of a random teacher and still receive credit. Jessica asks them which one is "G-off", and as Geoff tries to raise his hand, Zack stops him and shakes his head at him. While Evan tries to find the benefits of having his mother attend school with him, Jessica notices that he is playing cards and is doing magic tricks and berates him for it, further humiliating him in front of his friends when she criticizes him for eating applesauce due to the "bad boom booms" he gets from them, causing Zack and Geoff to chuckle.
Zack gets his test back from Ms. Houston
Zack is in class when he receives a test back from their teacher, Ms. Houston. As she gives a test back to Evan, referring to him as "Ev" Jessica admonishes her for not calling him Evan and tells him to lose the nickname. Evan then informs Ms. Houston that he is reverting back to Evan and asks if he could be used to use the bathroom. As she gives permission, Jessica announces loudly that there would be no shame if Evan sat down to pee and that it would not make him a lesser boy, humiliating him as his class, including Zack, laughs.
Sometime later, Geoff and Zack walk by with their lunch in the cafeteria, passing by Evan and Jessica's table when Evan pleads with them to sit with him, although they refuse due to Jessica's presence.[1]

"I need my home bathroom to... do what I need to do."
Zack was invited by Evan for a sleepover at his house along with some of their other friends, where they played "Truth or Math." While the others chose "math," Zack was the first to choose "truth." Evan then asked him who he would rather kiss – his mother Jessica or Geoff's mother. Since Emery and Evan shared a room, Emery sat by the desk writing in a journal as Evan went downstairs to get orange juice. After witnessing Louis and Eddie barge in to yell at Emery, Zack asked Louis if the sleepover was still happening, telling him that he would be relieved if it was since he needed to use his home bathroom.[2]
